so, i've been into some of the older cartoons as of late. i was reading about one called the groovie ghoulies- first aired in 1970- some spin off company of hanna barbarra- and so i got a few episodes and watched them. wow, it was so crazy. there was no plot- no story line. and all it was was zany sounds and 3 second shots of different monsters telling jokes. there were 2 rad music numbers in it where a monster band jammed for a bit... and then back to nonsense. talking sandwiches and dancing floating hands. they most have just wanted to get something for the kids that would keep em busy. just thought i'd let you know. i have a few other rarities cued up- i'll let you know how it goes.
